As of, Aug 6 2013 this personal blog of mine is no longer active. Inspite of it’s goofy name, I’ve blogged about some very interesting things I’ve learned and my early days of Computer Graphics and Motion Design. I’ve received comments from so many wonderful people and I always appreciate getting in touch with great artists and designers. Mathias Moehl, the prominent script author in the After Effects Community created a new video tutorial in which he uses Plexus, his Expression Timeline Script and various expressions authored by Dan Ebberts to create some really nice transitions and he explains the process in detail.

This is a handy little plugin that helps you to separate RGB channels of the given image. Even though you can do it manually by separating one channel per layer, this saves a lot of time. Also, it saves you time because Pixel Bender plugins are GPU accelerated.
